Christmas often looks calm, bright, and beautifully arranged but the first Christmas was anything but. It unfolded under political pressure, social margins, and midnight fear. A Roman emperor issues a decree, an ordinary couple searches for space, overlooked shepherds watch their flocks, and heaven breaks its silence; not in a palace, but in a field and a feeding trough. In this message from Luke 2:1–20, we will see how God’s light enters a dark and chaotic world, how power and poverty meet at the manger, and how peace is announced not to the powerful, but to the forgotten. This is the story of a Savior born into real history, real struggle, and real darkness bringing a peace the world could never give.
Join us 4 PM this Sunday as we revisit the Christmas story not as a polished nativity scene, but as a radical announcement: light has come into the darkness, and nothing will ever be the same again.
