Words are powerful. A single sentence can protect someone’s name, or ruin it. Long before anyone had to swear to tell the truth, God gave his people a commandment: You shall not bear false witness against your neighbour. This commandment is about guarding the people around us with one simple, costly gift: the truth. So why is it so hard? Why do we stay quiet when we know the rumour is false, shade the story to look a little better, or pass along something we haven’t checked?

Join us this Sunday at 4 PM as we reflect on the ninth commandment! We meet at 31 Atlantic Avenue!

8th November: Join us for a Potluck fellowship right after the church service.

13th November: We’re planning a community outreach event through an Anime Music Night! Please keep this event in your prayers, and stay tuned for more details.

18th November: Kate and Wilson will be hosting the home grace group for this month. Kindly RSVP.

5th December: We’re planning a mini Christmas Market at the church and are looking for volunteers to help make it a success. If you’d like to take part by selling your own products, please reply to this email to let us know.

Regards,

Godfrey
