This Sunday at Liberty Grace Church, we pause to reflect on a profound tension that sits at the heart of our faith: If God is powerful and sovereign—if His purposes cannot be thwarted—what role, if any, does our obedience truly play? Are we simply instruments in a divine play, or do our choices genuinely matter?
The book of Exodus does not shy away from this question. In fact, it invites us to wrestle with it. God's will is unmistakably clear and unstoppable—He will free His people. Yet, within this divine plan, we see real people, like Moses, responding, hesitating, questioning, and ultimately obeying. We also witness Pharaoh resisting and hardening his heart, only for God’s purposes to still unfold. So where does that leave us?
Join us at 4 PM this Sunday as we reflect on the providence of God—who is all-powerful and perfect in will—yet chooses to work through both human obedience and resistance to fulfill His purposes.
We gather at 31 Atlantic Avenue
