Have you ever paused to wonder what lies at the very heart of God’s Kingdom? What kind of King is Jesus—and what kind of world is He building?
At the center of the biblical story is a beautiful and powerful word: Shalom. More than just “peace,” Shalom speaks of wholeness, harmony, justice, and delight—the way things are meant to be. It is the core identity of our King, Jesus Christ, and it defines the nature of His Kingdom. He is not just a ruler of order or morality—He is the Prince of Shalom(Isaiah 9:6), restoring what is broken, healing what is wounded, and calling us into a world made right.
As followers of this King, Shalom shapes our identity too. We are not just people who believe certain things—we are people marked by peace, sent as peacemakers into a restless world. And we are people of hope, because we know that one day, Shalom will flood the earth like the waters cover the sea.
Join us this Sunday at 4 PM as we reflect on how Shalom is the core trait of God’s Kingdom, and how that truth reshapes our hearts, our homes, and our hope.
Come and be reminded: in Jesus, Shalom is not just a dream. It’s a present reality—and a coming future.
We hope to see you! We meet at 31 Atlantic Avenue!
This Sunday, July 13th! We’ll be having a church potluck right after the service.
Regards
