Liberty Grace Church is hiring two Community Events Organizers, and one Pastoral Intern.

Responsibilities of the Community Event Organizer positions include organizing community events and celebrations within the Liberty Village community, including summer festivals, events, and celebrations.

Responsibilities of the Pastoral Intern position include serving as a community pastor to help identify and meet community needs within Liberty Village, including outreach and service to vulnerable populations, promoting participation in community events, and building community.

Positions start April 17 or later, and are conditional on funding from the Canada Summer Student Jobs program.

  • The Junior Community Event Organizer must be enrolled in high school.
  • The Senior Community Event Organizer must be enrolled in university or college. Studies in Pastoral Studies/Seminary/Bible College or Social Work are preferred.
  • The Pastoral Intern must be enrolled in university, college, or seminary. Studies in Pastoral Studies, Theology, or Missions are preferred.
  • Applicants must be full-time current students who are planning on returning to school full-time in the Fall, and must be between the ages of 15 and 30 at the start of employment.
