We live in an unstable world. Economies collapse overnight, jobs vanish without warning, relationships fracture, and health can change with a single phone call. Even the things we cling to for security-money, success, technology crack under pressure.

But this is not new. In ancient Egypt, when the very gods they trusted began to fail, Pharaoh’s magicians whispered a shocking confession: “This is the finger of God.” Their idols couldn’t hold. And neither can ours.

So what does it mean to build your life on something that never fails? What does it look like to stand firm when everything else is shaking?

This Sunday, join us at 4 PM as we discover why idols always expire, why Christ never does, and why He alone is the firm foundation you can stand on in an unstable world.

We meet at 31 Atlantic Avenue!

Please Note,

Volunteers needed- Our Halloween Bash is on 31st October, 5:30 PM and it’s an amazing opportunity to connect with our community, share God’s love, and create a welcoming space for families. We need your help to make it happen! Whether it’s greeting guests, setting up, running games, serving food, or helping with cleanup, there’s a place for you to serve. If you’re willing to volunteer, sign up by responding to this email.

October 19- Beginning next month, we’re launching a new study group at church called “Growing in Grace.” This will be a space for us to gather together and dive deeper into the truths of the gospel. The group will meet every third Sunday of the month at 6 PM, right after the service, for about an hour; pizzas included! We’ll begin with the doctrine of the Trinity. Our goal in studying this foundational doctrine is to gain a clear biblical understanding of the Triune God, to appreciate how this doctrine has developed throughout church history, and to see how it shapes our worship, our relationship with God, and our life together as a community of faith.

October 22nd- Home Grace group at Kate and Wilson's Residence (Kindly RSVP by responding to this email)

October 29th- Block your calendars for Arts and Crafts Night!

Regards

Godfrey
