The image of a shepherd is one of the most enduring and powerful metaphors used in the Bible to describe God’s relationship with His people—and for good reason. To follow the Good Shepherd is to enter into the safety, provision, and intimacy of God’s care. He is not like the thief who seeks to destroy; He is the one who gives abundant life. He calls each of His sheep by name, leads them with His voice, and guards the sheepfold with watchful eyes. In a world full of false shepherds and spiritual predators, only Jesus stands as the faithful Shepherd—good, true, and forever present.
Come join us this Sunday at 4 PM as we talk about our Shepherd King! We’ll be gathering at 31 Atlantic Avenue.
