Why do we try to bargain with God? Why do we offer Him part of ourselves while holding back the rest? Is worship just a transaction, something we give in exchange for relief, blessing, or favour? These are questions that live in every human heart. In the story of the fourth plague, we meet Pharaoh, a king who thought he could appease God with partial obedience. But God is unlike any king. He is self-sufficient, needing nothing from us to accomplish His purposes. Every plague was not only a judgment but a declaration: God is Lord of all, and He is enough. Join us 4 PM on Sunday as we explore what it means to stand before a God who needs nothing, yet gives everything.
We meet at 31 Atlantic Avenue!
Please Note,
Volunteers needed- Our Halloween Bash is on 31st October, 5:30 PM and it’s an amazing opportunity to connect with our community, share God’s love, and create a welcoming space for families. We need your help to make it happen! Whether it’s greeting guests, setting up, running games, serving food, or helping with cleanup, there’s a place for you to serve. If you’re willing to volunteer, sign up by responding to this email.
October 19- Beginning this month, we’re launching a new study group at church called “Growing in Grace.” This will be a space for us to gather together and dive deeper into the truths of the gospel. The group will meet every third Sunday of the month at 6 PM, right after the service, for about an hour; pizzas included! We’ll begin with the doctrine of the Trinity. Our goal in studying this foundational doctrine is to gain a clear biblical understanding of the Triune God, to appreciate how this doctrine has developed throughout church history, and to see how it shapes our worship, our relationship with God, and our life together as a community of faith.
October 22nd (7 pm)- Home Grace group at Kate and Wilson's Residence (Kindly RSVP by responding to this email)
October 29th (7 PM)- Block your calendars for Arts and Crafts Night!
