On April 1-2, eight leaders from Liberty Grace went away for our first-ever leadership retreat. We stayed in Cambridge, thanks to the generosity of a couple of friends, and prayerfully worked on planning for our next phase of ministry.

We came away from that weekend with a clear plan for the next five years, three years, one year, and 90 days. I'm excited about the work that we did.

At one point I looked around the room. I realized that five of the eight people in the room weren't part of Liberty Grace a year ago. I was overcome with gratitude to the Lord for bringing new people to our church. I also prayed that God would continue to send new people as our church grows.

We are encouraged. We see new people coming out, and there's lots of great things happening. The women have started a weekend Bible study, and we're currently focusing on evangelism on Sunday and in our weekly Grace Group. There's lots of work to do, but we're filled with hope.

Please pray for us as we work on executing the plans we made on our retreat. We want to see our community saturated with the gospel as we build relationships with people in our community.

A couple of other quick notes:

  • We've applied for a grant to hire two summer students to help us in outreach. We should hear about this any day. Please pray that we will receive the grants, and find workers to help us.
  • We've been working on some minor renovations of our meeting space. We have some drywall work to do. If you know how to repair drywall, we are looking for some help. Please let me know.

Thanks for your prayers and support for Liberty Grace Church.
