When we finished our leadership retreat last month, we came back with some homework. One piece of the homework: to create a map of our community. It's a visual aid that we can use to pray for our community, and to track our progress in building relationships within Liberty Village.
The map is done, and it's now hanging in our space.
Of course, creating and hanging the map is the easy part. We want to saturate our entire community with the gospel by building authentic community. Please pray that we will do a good job building relationships and sharing the gospel within our community.
I'm also excited about our upcoming membership classes. We are hoping to welcome our charter members next month. We're holding sessions on May 31 and June 7. Please pray those that will be taking this important step.
Please continue to pray for us. Please pray for Darryl as he continues to lead at Liberty Grace, and to fundraise for the church. Please also pray for our application for funding to hire summer students. We expect a decision within the next week or so.
