We live in a world where many people wrestle with hard questions:
If God is merciful, why is there so much suffering? If God is powerful, why doesn’t He stop injustice? And if God is gracious, why do storms still crash into our lives?

This Sunday, we’re stepping into one of the most dramatic moments in the book of Exodus, the plague of hail; a moment filled with these very tensions. What looks like a terrifying act of judgment becomes something far more surprising: a window into the heart of God. In this single passage, the questions our culture keeps asking collide head-on with the God who refuses to be simplified. The God who could destroy… but doesn’t. The God who commands the storm… yet offers shelter in its midst. The God who acts with thunderous power… and tender purpose.

What if the storm isn’t just a storm?
What if the suffering we fear reveals something we’ve missed?
What if the God we assume is distant is actually speaking most clearly in the moments we least expect?

This isn’t just an ancient story, it’s a confrontation with the deepest doubts of our time and the deepest longings of our hearts.

Join us this Sunday at 4 PM as we explore a passage that challenges our assumptions, exposes our tensions, and reveals a God far more compelling than we imagined. We meet at 31 Atlantic!
