We say we trust God’s provision… until life feels uncertain. Because if God truly provides eternally, it means we are no longer in control. And surrender has always been harder than survival. So we keep striving. Keep grasping. Keep trying to secure tomorrow with our own strength. But the soul was never designed to carry that weight. The deeper struggle of the human heart is not merely lack, it is the fear of letting go. Yet Scripture calls us into a different way of living: a life where obedience becomes the evidence of trust, and God’s ways become more valuable than our own plans. When we finally rest in His provision, we discover something powerful: Rest is not weakness. Rest is worship. Rest is surrender. Rest is the sign that our hearts are learning to trust God more than ourselves.
This Sunday, we explore the God who provides eternally, the obedience that flows from surrender, and the rest that reveals true spiritual growth.
