We live in a world of instant solutions. Fast food. Fast internet. Fast delivery. Fast success. We are constantly told that the sky is the limit and that anything worth having should be available now. In such a culture, endurance rarely appears on anyone's list of highest virtues. Yet Scripture presents endurance as a mark of Christian maturity and a fruit of God's work in our lives. So is Christianity outdated? Or does the gospel offer something our culture desperately needs?
This Sunday, as we continue our journey through Paul's letter to the Thessalonians where Paul does not ignore suffering or pretend it isn't real. He names it and acknowledges its cost. Yet he refuses to let suffering have the final word.
Instead, he shows us:
• How to face suffering honestly without being defeated by it.
• Why relationships matter even more in seasons of hardship.
• How hope in Christ gives meaning and purpose to our endurance.
Join us 4 PM on Sunday as we discover how to pursue endurance in an age of quick fixes and why steadfast hope remains one of the most powerful witnesses of the Christian faith.
We meet at 31 Atlantic Avenue!
