This Sunday, we begin a new summer sermon series through Paul's two letters to the Thessalonians. At first glance, the opening chapter may seem like a simple greeting and salutation. Yet within Paul's words, we discover the remarkable story of a church that endured. The Thessalonian believers faced persecution, opposition, and uncertainty, but they remained steadfast. How did they endure?Paul points to three defining marks of their faith: faith, love, and hope. These were not merely theological concepts; they were the pillars that sustained them through trials and suffering.

As we journey through 1 and 2 Thessalonians this summer, we will explore a central theme: Steadfastness. What does it mean to remain faithful when our beliefs are challenged? How do we persevere through external pressures and internal struggles? How can the church stand firm in a rapidly changing world? The Thessalonian church has much to teach us about enduring with faith, serving with love, and waiting with hope.

Join us this Sunday at 4 PM as we begin this journey together and learn what it means to be a steadfast people in an unsettled age. We meet at 31 Atlantic Avenue!
