Today, Dwayne will be preaching on John 4:1-42 and what it means to encounter rejection. She came to the well at noon. She was ostracized. Everyone in town gossiped about her. She was a Samaritan and one of the most unlikely converts, yet salvation is about God extending His grace to us. Jesus revealed to her that He is the Messiah. God’s grace so overwhelmed her that she ran to the very people she was avoiding, declaring what Jesus had done for her. Many believed. People falsely believe they are beyond the grip of God’s grace, often believing they have committed the unpardonable sin, yet God can save anyone. Our salvation rests on the accomplished work of Jesus Christ.
