This past week, I wrote a blog post about what I’d do differently and what I’d do the same if I started Liberty Grace Church over again.

Here’s one of the points I included:

Pray. I prayed these past ten years, but if I started again, I would pray even more. A lot more.

If I’ve become convinced of anything, it’s that we don’t have what it takes to accomplish our mission apart from God’s power.

That’s why I’m inviting you to one of the most important things we do as a church: pray.

Next Tuesday, we’re holding our monthly potluck and prayer. The first hour, we eat together. The second hour, we pray together. Please join us on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.

My prayer for Liberty Grace Church is that it would grow as a praying church, one that cries out to God for his power. God loves to do his work through churches like this.

A Few Other Items

  • This Sunday, we’re looking at Ezekiel 43:1-12. Please join us at 4.
  • We’re also holding a newcomer’s dinner on September 10 after the evening service. If you’re new to Liberty Grace Church, please plan on joining us. Respond to this email to let me know you plan to attend.
  • Up until now, we've been blessed to have volunteers clean our building. This saves us from having to hire someone to clean the floor, windows, etc. If you are willing to clean the building once a month, it would be a big help. Just let me know.

See you Sunday!

Thanks,
Darryl
