Thank you to all those who came out to celebrate with us last night. We were reminded of God’s faithfulness, witnessed baptisms, and had the opportunity to prayerfully send off Pastor Darryl and his family.

I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Steffi Friyia. I have been attending Liberty Grace Church since Christmas 2016 and became a member in January 2018. It was here that I met my husband, and after marrying, we moved into Liberty Village to help serve in this community. The elders graciously offered me a part-time position as "Operations Strategist", which is just a title to cover the many responsibilities I will handle to keep things moving along as we navigate this transition period and wait on the Lord to provide a permanent pastor. So, what’s next, you may ask? Here are three ways:

  • Pray: Continue to pray for Liberty Grace Church. Pray for people to come and be faithful to the growth of the church. Pray for those in Liberty Village who do not know Jesus Christ and that we reach 1% of the village (~100 people). Pray that God blesses our outreach programs over the next few months. Pray that God will continue to provide for our church financially. May He sustain us and anchor us in the Word that is Jesus Christ.
  • Participate: We will have two opportunities to meet and discuss the vision for the next few months. The first is tomorrow night (Tuesday, September 23) at 7:00 pm. We will meet at the church (31 Atlantic Ave). The second will be held over Zoom on Wednesday, October 4 at 7:00 pm. We will delve into the core values of Liberty Grace Church: Gospel, Community, and Mission. We will also discuss Sunday Service operations.
  • Give: God calls us to give generously, joyfully, and sacrificially. Our church is in dire need of financial help over the next few months. Please pray and consider giving or increasing your offering. May God have mercy.

You can reach me at steffi@libertygrace.ca or at 647-361-7669 if you have any questions or concerns.

Until then, praise God from whom all blessings flow.

Steffi
