We've been working and praying towards the launch of a new church in Liberty Village. We've met tons of interesting people along the way, and we've been encouraged that God is in this.
Now it's time to move to the next stage. It's time to move from Liberty Grace Church as an idea, and to begin to see it as a reality.
What does this mean? It means the start of the Launch Community of Liberty Grace Church. This is the start of a church that does all the things that churches do: meets together, worships together, eats together, studies the Bible together, does outreach together, prays together. This is the start of a church that we pray will transform Liberty Village and beyond. We will lay the groundwork for what is yet to come as this church takes shape.
We get to be part of what God is doing in starting a new gospel work in Liberty Village. I can't think of anything more exciting.
We need you! Here's what you can do:
First, could you join us on Sunday, September 23 for our prayer walk? We will meet outside the Liberty Village Starbucks at 3:30 p.m. and walk through the community, praying for God to work in Liberty Village.
Second, could you please let us know what time would be good for you to meet? As we look to meeting regularly this month, we would like to find a time that works for the greatest number of people. Please complete this poll [poll now closed] and let us know what times would work best for you.
Third, could you please pray? Satan hates church planting, and he will do everything he can to thwart us before we even get started.
Finally, could you let others know? If you can think of anyone else who should know about this new church, please pass this email on to them and ask them to get involved. We are planning a Vision Night on Saturday, October 20 for those who would like to find out more about Liberty Grace Church.
I couldn't be more excited. I can't wait to see what God is going to do through ordinary people as we rely on him and follow his lead in Liberty Village.
